Man with US property gun shot dead


An unidentified man was shot dead in an alleged encounter with policemen of Del Pan Police Community Precinct in Port Area, Manila on Monday night. The slain man, described as between 20-25 years old, 5’4” tall with tattoos “SSC KING” on his toe and “LOVELA” on his right forearm and “GOSAIN ALONTO” on his back. Initial investigation showed that Del Pan officers Police Officers 1 Ronnel Vincent Angeles, Sherwin Mipa and Elmer Quintos and PO3 John Michael Cabusao were on foot patrol when they tried to approach the victim upon observing him acting suspiciously. But the suspect allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired at the lawmen, triggering a shootout. Investigators retrieved one Colt government model automatic .45 caliber pistol (US property firearm), one magazine loaded with four live bullets and a black bag containing several sachets containing shabu. Another unidentified man riding a motorcycle was killed in an alleged clash with Police Station 2-Manila Police District officers in Tondo, Manila on Tuesday. The slain bore the tattoos “LIT JERSEY” on his chest and “HOLY CROSS” on his right forearm. Police retrieved a S&W .38 caliber gun with no serial number and loaded with four live ammunition and six heat-sealed sachets containing shabu from the slain man.
