Influential businessmen belonging to Ermita-Malate Business Owners Association on Tuesday urged Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada to reappoint Supt. Alex Yanquiling Jr. as Police Station 5 commander.
Michelle Pe, a director of the association and the general manager of the Miramar Hotel, said they sent a letter to Estrada asking him to intervene in their behalf, and convince National Capital Region (NCR) Dir. Carmelo Valmoria to reinstate Yanquiling.
