THE Manila High School Class 1973 will hold its reunion on February 28, 2016 at the Bayleaf Hotel, Muralla Street, Intramuros, Manila. The Manila High School located in Intramuros, Manila is considered as the oldest public secondary school in Asia and has produced three Philippine presidents, namely, Manuel Roxas, Elpidio Quirino and Jose Laurel. The other prominent alumni of the school are Carlos P. Romulo, who became United Nations Secretary General; National Artist Vicente Manansala; Conrado Benitez, founder of the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement and one of the drafters of the 1935 Philippine Constitution; and Narciso Ramos, member of the Philippine Legislature and father of former President Fidel Ramos. According to organizer Fernando Postrado, batchmates from the United States and Canada will attend and together with resident alumni, use the occasion to conduct projects for the benefit of the school and its students.
