BOASTING 1,522 square meters of space with new design and fixtures, the grand Fiesta Pavilion was unveiled on July 24 after a year of renovation.
Equipped with cutting-edge lighting fixtures and updated theater-like setup, guests were in awe when the artfully lit ceiling and wall panels began to adapt to the mood and nature of the grand event.
The Fiesta Pavilion was once home to wonderful debuts, unforgettable weddings and memorable anniversaries that evoke a lot of memories. It was also host to countless state functions and historic occasions.
Now, it can accommodate 1,300 people for a sit-down dinner or buffet and 1,800 guests for cocktails, according to Dr. Enrique Yap Jr., executive vice president of The Manila Hotel.
Gerhard Doll, the resident manager of the hotel welcomed guests while Atty. Jose Lina Jr., president of The Manila Hotel led the Board of Directors through a ceremonial toasting.
Meanwhile, Chairman Basilio Yap officially re-opens the new Fiesta Pavilion with a light and sound show. Hosting the event is multi-awarded broadcast and print journalist David Celdran.
Capping off the night Guests was a performance of Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha as guests enjoyed a sumptuous feast prepared by the hotel chefs.
