AIRASIA Philippines announced over the weekend that it will start flying three times daily between Manila and Iloilo on October 1.
According to AirAsia, the new flights will further expand its operations in the Visayas region following its launch of international and domestic flights via Cebu last year.
“AirAsia’s signature low fares, superb service and seamless connectivity here in the country and across Asean including China, Australia, India and much more will facilitate travel aspirations of our guests from Western Visayas via Iloilo’s modern airport and help stimulate demand for travel and tourism,” AirAsia Chief Executive Officer Dexter Comendador said in a statement.
The new flights will be utilizing AirAsia’s fleet of Airbus A320 planes that have a 180-seat capacity.
Promotional booking at the introductory price of P999 became available starting August 4 until August 27 for travel between October 1, 2017 and August 28, 2018.
