Top Brazilian model stars in Suiteblanco’s Spring-Summer campaign
Barely a year old in Manila, Spanish fashion brand Suiteblanco has quickly gained a loyal following among Filipinas who especially enjoy feminine styles. And according to the label’s exclusive Philippine franchisee, the SM Retail Group, its fans are in for a treat as no less than top Brazilian model Izabel Goulart inspires—and wears—Suiteblanco’s Spring-Summer 2014 collection.

Named after the stunning brown-haired goddess herself, the Izabel collection embodies the feminine ideals of the brand in quite an eclectic way.

The look
Suiteblanco’s Izabel Spring-Summer collection lifts the lid on a variety of designs ranging from casual to elegant, formulating a dose of urban chic in one swoop, befitting every woman who is at ease with playing up trends. Whether updating a classic or reinventing a basic, the spectrum of styles transport a trendy blank slate for the summer season ahead.

Silhouettes, meanwhile, are structured yet soft as slim dresses and pencil skirts define the perfect form. Fluid high-rise shorts and crop tops add a fresh, contemporary touch to the more classic pieces.

Fabrics range from light knitwear with delicate accoutrements, rich materials like suede and neoprene, and ultra diverse denim, which make for “femme fatale” outfits.

As for the color palette, Suiteblanco ushers in the change of season through new shades that ignite sweet escapade, as well as artful prints and geometric figures. The color party is evident in a play of prints—painterly florals and palm fronds splayed across shorts and flounce skirts. In the same way, monochrome is a must have in a collection where sky blue and pastel tones are as essential as the black and white twosome.

Who’s that girl?

The 29-year-old Izabel Goulart is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and Armani Exchange.

A São Paulo native, the part Italian beauty was discovered to model at age 14, which took her back and forth Brazil and Europe under the management of Major Models Brazil.
