• Marcos was cheated, should file protest for country’s sake

    146

The late Jesse Robredo must have turned in his grave when his widow, Leni, declared that her (purported) victory in the vice-presidential contest was made more meaningful as it happened on his birthday.

    Advertisements

The indications of cheating that made Leni “win” are so obvious.

For starters, Robredo won over Marcos in the Congress’ official count by 263,473 votes. This is almost exactly the same as her margin of 263,840 over Marcos in just two provinces. And perhaps, you guessed them right – Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao. Controlled by warlords and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), these areas can deliver the number of votes a candidate wants, if the price is right.

This has been going on for decades. Then presidential candidate Miriam Defensor-Santiago also lost by a landslide in these two provinces in the 1992 elections.

The following are the results of votes in these provinces, according to official Comelec data. Do you honestly think their residents, dominantly Muslims, were such big fans of Robredo as to give her such landslide margins?

    lanao 3
    lanao20160530

This means that if the votes – which weren’t really votes – from these two provinces were not included, Marcos would have won:
    maguindanao20160530

But there are other provinces where Robredo very suspiciously won by a landslide, among these:
    difference20160530

Can somebody please give me a rational explanation why Robredo won by a landslide in these provinces?

The vice presidential race, as well as that for the president, was to a great extent a tribal contest, with a candidate’s tribe and its expanded territory (regions) overwhelmingly voting for him or her.

For example, Marcos received about 300,000 votes, with Robredo getting a measly 4,000 in Ilocos Norte. (Figures here are rounded off for easier reading.) But Robredo garnered 800,000 votes from her bailiwick Camarines provinces, leaving Marcos with only 67,000.

Cebu gave Marcos a severe beating by delivering 400,000 more votes for Robredo. Cebu, of course, has continued to be a bastion of anti-Marcos sentiment, partly because of presidential candidate Sergio Osmena, Jr.’s colossal loss to Marcos in the 1969 presidential race, Sergio Osmena 3rd’s imprisonment by the strongman, and the fact that the so-called “oligarchs” he targeted during his regime were mostly from Cebu and Negros.

That President Aquino 3rd and his yellow cabal junked Roxas to throw resources into Robredo’s campaign to win the vice presidency (amid rumors of a Plan B under which President-elect Duterte is to be ousted later) is also quite obvious in that Robredo got significantly more votes than Roxas in several provinces. For instance, in the two provinces that gave Robredo the edge, Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao, she received 400,000 votes while Roxas got only 163,000.

Marcos’ bailiwicks (the “Solid North,” several Mindanao provinces and Leyte) cancelled out Robredo’s “bailiwicks,” which I put in quotation marks as these include areas into which the Liberal Party threw their resources, such as Negros, Cebu, and several provinces in Mindanao).

One thing that makes me very suspicious that Aquino and his yellow horde moved heaven and earth to cheat to have Robredo win, while throwing Roxas under the bus, are the results seen in the National Capital Region.

Marcos won by a landslide in the nation’s premium region, gaining 46 percent of the votes in the NCR, while Robredo got only 29 percent and Cayetano 13 percent.

This should worry Aquino and his rabid anti-Marcos forces. In the NCR, which has the ahighest literacy rate and the most developed media and information infrastructure, Filipinos either have forgiven Marcos’ father, forgotten his father or don’t believe in the yellow propaganda that Martial Law was a dark period of our history. There is not a single city in metropolitan Manila where Robredo won over Marcos. Even Quezon City, the site of anti-Marcos centers such as the University of the Philippines and the Ateneo voted 2 to 1 for Marcos.

Check out the table below and see how your city voted:
    city20160530

The NCR results are so radically different from those of the entire Philippines. This is an anomaly – the farther away from the capital and metropolitan region, the more significant the decline becomes of the media’s reach to disseminate a new name like “Robredo.” Where I voted in a southern province just two hours’ drive from Makati, I often even overheard people asking, “Sino ito si Lini Roberto?” How could Robredo, who campaigned only for a few months, win against somebody with a household name that started being disseminated 40 years ago?
    share20160530

The NCR results in past elections mirror the national results, probably since the region is actually a melting pot of migrants from all provinces. For instance, Duterte won 43 percent of the votes in NCR, just 4 percentage points higher than the 39 percent he received for the entire Philippines.

How can Robredo explain that Marcos won 46 percent of votes in the NCR, and yet he garnered only 35 percent of the votes nationwide, a huge drop of 11 percentage points? How can she explain she received only 29 percent in the NCR, yet got 6 percentage points more for the entire Philippines?

It will be expensive for Marcos to file an election protest, since he would have to pay for the costs of opening and examining each Election Return and Certificate of Canvass. Yet, the weaknesses of our electoral system must be corrected, or our democracy will continue to be a sham. He has to do it for the sake of the country.

Robredo’s “victory” must be exposed as a sham, representing the last gasps of the Yellow Force.

    1. I am not sure why the Marcoses are even given an opportunity to participate in Philippine politics given their history of plunder, human rights violations, murder, etc.

    2. The LP really tried their best to chest unfortunately Duterte margin is so huge so they cannot manipulate it, its is Bongbongs mistake , he should let the cheaters to prevail.I also believe that BB is the true winner for the VP position , the analysis presented by Mr. Tiglao is realistic, the GMA residents clearly showed that BB is their VP only in the remote provinces in Mindanao where the likes of the Ampatruans could easily manipuate the election results if the price is right.

    3. Andres J. Bonifacio on

Why is everybody seemed so surprised at the results of the election??

This is how we do it. Now, if one candidate is outsmarted, outcheated and outflanked-
take your lumps and wait for the next election.

There are also pundits who for obvious reasons will keep stoking the fire and keep recycling their ideas, whether true or false in the hopes of making a name for themselves- contrary to what they are supposed to do: inform the public without bias.

    4. No Marcos was not cheated!! But in 1986,
Marcos Sr. did cheat big time against Cory Aquino!! But the clean conscious of the computer operators walked out of their jobs to protest their direct order to manipulate the electoral process!!

      • its a big lie! go back to the true story why there was a walked out, who are those who walked out.

    5. I don’t care who won , bbm or lini lugaw, I just want to know the truth. in the end the truth shall makes us free. let them file a protest.

      • Andres J. Bonifacio on

        Can you handle the truth??

The truth is what you see, what you read and above all, what you hear from some darken alley and smoke-filled backroom.

This is the kind of “journalism” that Duterte really hates. Just because you’re with the media, you decided that you can just publish some irresponsible messages to the public at your convenience.

      • He has a rational argument. It wasn’t just an explanation out of the blue. You should be examining yourself why you can’t see the obvious.

    7. Sorry kau BBM camp. Back to business na tau. Itulog nyo na lang yan. Lab u ol! :)

    8. Had you all forgotten that the Marcoses are the greatest cheaters of all time? I know the sin of the father is not the sin of the son, but remember where is the family getting loads of money if not from the “hurakot” of the father being the head of the Phil. Kong anong pinaka-in mo sa pamilya, it will bear the same fruit… there you go, the Marcoses will never accept defeat.

The Marcoses want POWER and once in it, God only knows, what comes next. Mine is just a simple thinking of the past that Marcos did to the Phil.

    9. why place the burden of proof to the Robredo camp? if marcos really believe that he was cheated then he will, no doubt, file an election protest. however, if he has no concrete proof and is only hoping for a fish to fall in the fishnet, then you can be assured he will not file a protest for the mere fact that it will cost him in the hundreds of millions that could prove nothing to his futile experiment.

Robredo already stated in media that she welcomes marcos to file a protest. the ball is now in marcos hands, don’t pass it back to robredo without attempting to take the shot!

    10. Accept the fact that another widow defeated a Marcos. Masakit diba? Chance na sana makabalik, naunsyami pa. Why Leni? Just ask the people around you (wag lang sa Ilocos, of course) and you’ll find out marami talaga ang bumoto sa kaniya.

    12. ron sanchez on

dapat manual sana or recount anong kinatatakotan nyo macalintal kung totoo..

    13. Talaga naman oo. Hindi natalo. Dinaya. Kayo talaga.

Amend the election law to require Comelec to audit a number of random precincts per province and a number of precints nominated by the second placer in presidential and vice presidential positions and the 13th placer in the senatorial position.

    14. Kung may nandaya man thru rigging the VCM machines or so called SD cards ay siguradong huli. Kaya kung ako ang Comelec unless they are complicit ay iimbestigahan ko kaagad.

    15. BBM camp is crying foul because they are on the other side of the fence. Like always waht we Filipinos will say, being submissive and thinking that it is God’s way that BBM lost either by cheating or not, in any case BBM lost. Accept your loss and moved on….

This is actually the fight of the Filipino for TRUTH, the government shall exempt the complainant of the expenses and shoulder it instead. The Duterte Presidency emerged to strengthen our political institutions by cleaning the very office that elects Filipino leaders.

      Go BBM go!

Ito ang laging sabi nating mga Pilipino, nothing will change because BBM lost the election.

    19. BBMs defeat is the Philippines loss regardless if he was cheated or not. Anti-Marcos just don’t get it. If he gets elected he will continue with the good projects of his father that Cory declined to continue. And this projects once implemented or completed ho Cory and Abnoy stupidity and will be exposed.

Inapakapakan na naman tayo. They trampled on us, again. If we just move on they will do it again. If we allow it and dont get the truth, Pinoy would have proved his point. We may be calling him stupid, but we end up more stupid than him. Regardless of who we voted for, we should not allow anyone to trample our rights with so much impunity and disregard. It is just not right. It is totally unacceptable. Any self-respecting filipino should not allow this.

    22. I think bestest way to do it is iffer Marlon Garcia a leverage that if he would coordinate with the authorities in surfacing the truth he will be given e.g. pardon/immunity so he would not have to worry to speak the truth.

We will support the financial requirements of this important endeavor for the nation. Indeed we need to know where to deposit our money? Sir Tiglao pls. coordinate with BBM. ASAP.

    27. why didnt my VP BBM file a pre-proclamation controversy? who are his lawyers???

      • Preproclamation controversies are not allowed in national positions, except in cases of discrepancy, incompleteness, erasure, or alteration in the Certificate of Canvass.

Since all discrepancies were minor and were adquately explained by the local boards of canvassers, the canvassing was completed.

      • isagani z. mamaril on

hi susan. with the enactment of the automated election law, the so-called pre-proclamation protest was practically thrown out of the waste basket.FYI

    28. Considering that OFWs came from all over the philippines, the absentee/OFW result is also a good indicator that BBM won…ratio was ~2:1 that almost mirrored the NCR ratio of 1.56:1!

    29. Alexande Ravenwood on

It’s not about winning anymore. This is about our democracy.
BBM is crying for investigation about this fraud because HE IS THINKING ABOUT THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE FOR THE FILIPINOS. No matter what the result is, win or lose, as long as the votes will be audited properly and transparently, then there will be peace of mind for the people of this country.

Duterte could have garnered 19-M votes or more, possibly. But why are we neglecting this because we know he won already. Hanggang dun nalang ba ang fight natin? That’s selfishness, what about those people who voted for Duterte whose votes weren’t counted? However, again it’s not about winning, it’s about TRANSPARENCY.

For example, you studied for final exams. You answered the questions confidently. During checking of papers, your teacher CHANGED the answer key and messed up the entire scores of the class. You, who answered well, questioned the ANSWER KEY that did not match on the questions. Worst part, your professor did not answer you. What would you do? Protest or even report to the incident to the dean. Lesson learned, zero or perfect score, as long as the result of the exam was TRANSPARENT, then there would be no problem.

I’m done arguing about this. What I can say is that our election process is the worst and we know Filipinos can do way better than this. Robredo or BBM, as long as, everything were audited well then the satisfaction of the Filipinos will be served.

Amend the election law to require Comelec to audit a number of random precincts per province and a number of precints nominated by the second placer in presidential and vice presidential positions and the 13th placer in the senatorial position.

      • Who told you its not about winning? eh halatang bitter ka at gusto mo ay si bobong marcos ang lumabas..pa democracy democracy ka…bakit wala ka ba demokrasya sa ngayun? wala na martial law ni marcos,,kaya nakakapagsabi ka ng ganyan na gusto mo..yan ang demokrasya..pero bulag ang utak mo,,(meron ba? )

    30. so paano siyang nanalo kung sa NCR pa lang nilampaso na siya, how much more sa mga probinsya since she is a total unknown, hindi siya kilala, ahahahaha that’s plain stupidity. Even a grade schooler can detect cheating with these datas alone.

    32. aY grabe na2, talamak talaga ang naging dayaan sa election to favor roxas and robredo. hindi dapat ito palampasin ni incoming president duterte, further and more deeper investigation should be conducted by the Comelec coz they were fooled and tricked under their very own noses. O BAKA NAMAN THEY ARE ONE OF THEM. ay grabe

      • kung wala kau tiwala sa botohan bakit pa kau bumoboto?. kahit ano nmn gawin ng comelec sasabihin nyo pa ring mga talunan kau na dinaya kau. kasi it reflects your own personality na mandaraya. One thing for sure ang baguhan walang alam mandaya.

    33. SMARTMATIC IS A REAL CHEATER, COZ IN A PAST REPORT, EVEN IN VENEZUELA, THEY HAVE DONE THIS KIND OF CHEATING. THEY DO IT FOR THE MONEY. SMARTMATIC SHOULDN’T BE TRUSTED AT ALL. WHY COMELEC HAVE ALLOWED AND TRUSTED SMARTMATIC AFTERALL, COZ THEY KNOW THAT THEY CAN MANIPULATE ELECTION RESULTS. COMELEC IS IN CONNIVANCE WITH SMARTMATIC AND SO WITH THE ADMIN. AFTERALL, IT’S SO OBVIOUS THAT THEY DONT WANT MARCOS TO WIN THE ELECTION IN THE FIRST PLACE. AND THAT’S THE TRUTH, SO THEY WILL DO ANYTHING AND HAVE DONE IT THROUGH SMARTMATIC TO GET RID OF HIM WINNING THE VICE PRESIDENCY.

    34. Just open the ballot boxes in the entire Quezon province and you have bongbong winning by a mile…… whistle blowers are now coming out in the open…. let’s punished all those who participated in this election sabotage….. by hanging…

    35. Senator BBM and his team should really file a protest so that the public will be spared from their further pronouncements concerning the reasons why BBM lost. To paraphrase Einstein: “Repetition of the same claim over and over again – “I lost because I got cheated” – is a form of insanity”. By their filing a protest, at least we would know that they have gone beyond repetition of their mantra, and will cease to shape and condition the public’s mind that BBM lost because of cheating.

However, filing a protest or petition before the President Election Tribunal or the Supreme Court will lead nowhere, and will just be a fruitless exercise wasting time, money and resources. Firstly, consider this sentence (as reported by the Daily Tribune of May 29 “Marcos to File Protest”): “BBM has insisted he was deprived of nearly 4 million votes through cheating and malfunctioning vote-counting machines, and was gathering evidence for a potential “election protest”. The operative phrase here is “gathering evidence”. This means that right now BBM and his lawyers have no concrete or specific evidence in support of their claims.

Secondly, even though the organization called “Mata sa Balota Movement” filed an electoral sabotage case before the Ombudsman against the Comelec, Smartmatic, and election watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting on grounds that an agreed change of script by Comelec and Smarmatic IT personnel had been made without the Comelec en banc’s permission, the case will most likely be dismissed because it is “premature” and the organization has no proof that the script change went beyond a “cosmetic change”. In fact, Atty. Sixto Brilliantes (one of BBM’s lawyers, and a former chairman of Comelec) actually said: “Ano ba naman. Ang dami namang bobo rito sa Pilipinas.” He also said: “There can be no cheating using only unofficial results”.

Lastly, the issue of undervotes does not mean fraud or cheating has occurred. This issue has already been ruled or decided previously by the Supreme Court, and it is a certainty that they will not rule otherwise for BBM. What proof positive does BBM and his team have in their possession to show that the undervotes should be allocated to him, and not to Cong. Leni Robredo or the other vice-presidential candidates? The latter could make the same claim as BBM, and the drama will just go on and on and on. Boring and tiresome.

BBM is still in the first stage of grief: denial. His well-laid plans for the Marcoses to return to Malacanang Palace via the VP contest have been thwarted and foiled. It may take some time for him to move to the second stage of grief which is “acceptance”. But sooner or later, he has to. The stark reality that he has to confront or deal with is this simple fact: he lost, and Cong. Leni Robredo is now the Vice-president of the Philippines.

    36. bernabe quintero on

Definitely, Marcos must file an manual recount with consideration to the alleged pre-sahaded voting in maguindanao and other areas(my mga videos and witnesses naman). kung kailangan niyang gastosan yan, sana sumugal na siya, total, kitang kita naman na panalo siya.

    37. Hele hele bago quierre, that is what widows cory and leni are, in reality. Such hypocrites and the mainstream media have been hoodwinking the Filipino populace. Lets see how the newly elected head will handle this widow .. at last count roughly 80% of the jaundice party has shifted to the party in power.

    39. rey quijada on

In Sta. Josefa, Agusan del Sur, we have filed a petition for a manual recount at the RTC Branch 6 of the ballots cast for councilors. If granted by the court, we are confident based on the feedback of the electorates that the results was manipulated by the computer. We checked the electoral returns with the COC and the certificate of votes, they tally. But despite vote buying that includes preventing people to vote including the admin’s people voters, the turnout is very high ranging from 88% to 95% in many precincts. Many winning councilors can hardly believe they won over stronger candidates. If fortunately the manual recount materializes in our town, the computer being reported to have been used in the cheating will be exposed. Aside from winning after the manual recount is done, we will be able to contribute our humble share to the country’s good!!

        GODbless you Mayor!

Then this was a courageous step –to be applauded .

.If indeed the tampering was done –then all the elections here can be said to be flawed

at least the ones which involve the machines used in the last one

.The experts are saying that it would not of been done when the cosmetic alterations were done

..Comelec;are screaming ;because no one came and asked them ; for permission to do this –As is part of the contract between the company that make the machines and comelec…

Why are there not more candidates screaming foul .?/..As surely if one election can be rigged ..what of all the others

        David M Meyer {PhD Psych}

    53. Indeed, with due respect to Rob-Widow, hers is and was never a household name. The Marcos brand has been known for more than forty years already, hence the advertising expense was never that much compared to what elpi has expended on Rob-Widow. Surely, the expense would never be much of a problem but the inaction will be what will decide the outcome. Now that the official canvassing is over, the Comelec will not have a reason to reject any systems audit of their hardware and software altho with the three weeks that were lost, a lot of cover-up may have hidden the evidence and tell-tale signs. Bonget should fund whatever is necessary to expedite the audit not only for himself but for all the senators as well as all the other candidates in the 2010 and 2013 election to establish the historical truth. Who knows, the mama’s boy may really have won over Jojo and it was Joseph who was the real winner in the 2010 presidential election. The only problem is that Bonget may have to dilly dally a bit until beneegno is out of office or until a lesson is given to an SC justice.

    54. Brian Blackwell on

The allegations are serious but the writer does not seem to put forward a shred of evidence to support them. The article is a series of speculations and claims. He has apparently decided that many votes were not even votes and I wonder how he can support that claim? Is he claiming vote-buying? Or is he claiming that ‘ghost’ votes were included? I’d be interested to hear his answers.

      • Hijo, according to reports, there are three (3) INC churches in Basilan. So how can Bonget get a zero vote in the area?

      • The only way to find out is a systems audit which the powers that be are preventing. Evidence enough for you?

      • Lolita Marquez on

Mr. Tiglso is making use of comparative statics as proof of cheating.

      • Evidence? There’s a ton of them.

Vote buying, documented videos/pictures, VCM raw data analysis, mathematical analysis, Smartmatic admissions, “glitches” in COMELEC servers, mysterious operations, etc. You name it

Are these “evidences” been answered by COMELEC and LP? No! They are so silent. And people like you seems to be too blind to see it

      • Cheaters always have the alibi of saying “prove that there was cheating” believing that the fraud could not be uncovered. The VP numbers alone speak for itself. Leni’s winning over BBM defies logic in any way your mind can muster. Simple truth is – if BBM won in the National Capital Region as well as in overseas votes, how can one explain the overall votes for Leni? Pres Aquino openly said many times he didn’t want BBM to win. What does that pronouncement mean? Well, if he could easily bribe the Senators to impeach Corona with DAP money how could he not do it against BBM. Only people with high IQ can fully discern that indeed the VP numbers are fraught with massive fraud. I am also willing to contribute in favor of a protest action by BBM not that I voted and wanted him to win but because of my desire that people’s true mandate is given due justice.

    55. THE ELECTION CLEARLY DOES NOT REFLECT THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE. oUR ELECTIONS SINCE TIME IMMEMORIAL IS HIGHLIGHTED BY CHEATING, VOTE BUYING AND KILLINGS. DUTERTE HOPEFULLY MAY CHANGE THAT. BS AQUINO IS ROTTEN TO THE CORE. I DON’T BELIEVE THESE AQUINOS ARE HEROES, NINOY DECIDED TO GO HOME BELIEVING MARCOS VERY SICK AND HE MAY HAVE A CHANCE FOR THE PRESIDENCY. ACTUALLY I HEARD HE SOLD SABAH.

      • Girlie Bebbeb on

ninoy aquino exposed Marcos planned to take Sabah by force, so Marcos ha to aborted it. The aquino never did anything for the country, except being cockroach. Whatever they do or think they are doing fo the country, they do not do it without getting something in return. corazon aquino said: “I want the Filipino people will suffer so they will hate Marcos”. she said that thinking of herself as a chinese, not Filipino. They are not heroes, but burden for the country.

    56. Leodegardo Pruna on

BBM has remained calm and gentle in asking his supporters to respect the processes without yielding his right to question and file a petition to examine the real score in the concluded electoral process. The Filipino people should know what really happened and should any fraud be discovered to make accountable those who authored it. In question of course is P-Noy who not only pre-empted and usurped the NCB by announcing and congratulating Leni even before the NCB announced the conclusion of the canvassing. God has His way on evil deeds and we can count on that. God save the Philippines.

    57. Mabuhay ka Mr. Tiglao! We need people like you who have the balls to oppose the evil people with evil minds that corrupt the nation and our people.

      • Michael lauricio on

Mr . Tiglao, I am not your biased reader but I’m an avid follower of your column. I would say I’d check it at least 3 times a day. I would do it more given the chance like hoe I got my chance when I was following Over a cup of coffee by Doroy Valencia. I’ve never bothered reading columns until you showed up. Keep up the good work sir!

    58. Martin Donovan on

So if warlords order a vote (for Robredo) it is wrong – if the INC does (for Marcos) it is right. In the latter case there was no price?

      • Lolita Marquez on

At warlords county, the people are forced notto vote actually. Some paid groups do the voting for them where as with the INC they troop to vote themselves. There kies the difference.

      • Myopic point of view …… warlords first sell the votes to the highest bidder, and their cohorts cast the votes informing their constituents when they come to the precincts that their votes have already been cast….. in the case of the INC its block voting, rarely do they cast their votes for another candidate …

      • I don’t think you get it. These Mindanao warlords does not order to vote for their candidates, they intimidate their electorates not even to go to the precincts to vote. They do the voting themselves using their co-hoodlums to manufactures votes. At least for INC, their members were ask by their Ministers whom to vote, but their members are the one’s to do the voting in the precincts without the threat of death and they can use their own free will to vote.
It’s about time remedial measures should be made by the government to stop this practice. The government should have the balls not to conduct elections in those places where there’s a perennial practice of this fraud. We should all act to eliminate these hooliganism which now deprives us of our right to suffrage. This has gone to far already, imagine Warlords/Hoodlums dictating the country who our leaders should be. If they can do it in Mindanao, other region might follow suit and does the same thing, then its a goodbye to our democracy.

Comon sense babe, common sense.

No one would believe someone who makes claims without evidence. Such claims are just “tsismis” or speculations.

    60. That was a glaring truthful analysis of what transpired in the elections. The LP of Noynoy and Roxas pulled no punches in making sure Robredo wins the vice-presidency. The NCR has always mirrored the national sentiment in almost all national elections in the past, yet Robredo won while losing in the NCR. The Comelec has a lot of explaining to do or it has to cease as an elections body.

    62. CB Lantican on

It would have been useful if you showed the percentage of undervoting by province for the VP position. If the figure for any province is large, say 10% or more, there is really reason to suspect that manipulation to favor a candidate has taken place.

    63. BONGBONG WAS THE SURE WINNER IN LANAO DEL SUR AND LANAO DEL NORTE AND IN AGUSAN AND IN COTABATO PROVINCES. HERE’S WHY WITH THE 2 LANAO PROVINCES THE PEOPLE IN THE SAID PLACE ARE LOYAL TO LATE PRES. FERDINAND MARCOS BECAUSE OF THE LATE STRONGMAN ALI DIMAPORO I HAVE BEEN THERE ASSIGNED IN 2005 TO 2010. FOR ONE THE DIMAPOROS ARE LOYAL TO PRES. MARCOS IF WITHOUT HIM THEY WILL NOT BE IN THEIR PRESENT STATURE THEY STILL HAVE CLOUT OVER THERE CONSTITUENTS. ADDED TO THAT THE ILIGAN CITY INTEGRATED STEEL MILLS WHICH WAS MOTHBALLED BY THE AQUINOS AND ITS REHAB AND OPERATION WAS STALLED BY MAR IN THE EARLY 2002. THE ECONOMY OF THAT REGION 12 AND ADJACENT ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR BENEFITED FROM THE STEEL MILLS.

NOW LETS GO TO THE COTABATO PROVINCES, COMPRISING OF MAGUINDANAO , SULTAN KUDARAT, NORTH COTABATO, SOUTH COTABATO, AND SARANGANI.. VOTERS IN THE SAID PROVINCES IF NOT ALL G.I.. MEANING PURE BLOODIED ILOCANOS, EXCEPT OF COURSE SOME MUSLIMS BUT THEY WERE INTER MARRIAGES. SO HOW COME BONGBONG WILL LOSS IN THE SAID PROVINCES.. . . YES OF COURSE COURTESY OF ADOLF HITLER PNOY… NAGKAMALI SILA DIYAN SOBRAND HALATA NAMAN. . .

      • Say it FBI. (Full Bloodied Ilocanos)
They make a difference in any national election
due to their loyalty to their pedigree.
And things got clearer by the day that BBM actually
        won but technically lost.

      • Move on ka na lang. Ang sakit kasi diba? Imagine you’ve waited for 30 years, naunsyami pa, tapos isang Leni lang ang dumikit at nakatalo sa kaniya. Haist.
If it was really meant for him to win, he will win, like Duterte. Think, even surveys proved that Leni locked in with BBM, while i’m not saying surveys decided the election, we can use that as barometer. If you can’t move on, file electoral protest and wait.
Until such time a decision has been reached, nilay nilay muna kayo.

    64. Felix A. Bravo on

Mr. Tiglao, in the past, I met you at Teresa Homes, Tarlac City. Time passed swiftly. But, I appreciate your comments published in newspapers and this one.

I also believe Jesse Robredo turned several times at the wife’s ambition!

As you already know, BBM is not conceding! Do you think this is a good move?

You continue to publicize your news articles. I will catch them somewhow!

      Yours truly,

      Felix A. Bravo

      May 29, 2016.

    66. “Can somebody please give me a rational explanation why Robredo won by a landslide in these provinces?”

      • Vilhelm Patrik Fridriksson on

      • It will cost Marcos millions or billions if he will make a protest. But he can just have selective regions with suspicious results to minimize the expenses. I am sure the same pattern is being used every election if there is cheating being made. For the sake of the whole Filipino nation, the truth must be revealed. This is not just for BBM that I am favoring a protest but for the right of the whole electorate. And I think we must help in this endeavor. I for one, I am willing to share my extra money to support the protest.

      • Lolita Marquez on

      • The BBL (palace version) doesn’t benefit ALL Muslims. Mindanao is not 100% Muslim. BBL is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

      • Alexande Ravenwood on

BBM was against original BBL because it was unconstitutional. And, have you forgotten that BBM was the one who headed the team to revise the law to be more beneficial to the Muslim Mindanao? He revised it so that everyone could benefit and so that it would be constitutional.

    68. .

Pretend that nothing abnormal, undesirable or worrying had happened? Pretend that the Comelec protocol had not been breached? Pretend that there are no irregularities even if they are happening under the watchful eyes of concerned Filipinos?

We must show the world that Filipinos are not cheaters. We must expose the few who are cheaters and prevent them from cheating again.

    69. SusMaria! Pilipinos always vote for widows and “orphans”… Thanks God “orphan” Poe Llamanzares didn’t get elected. Roxas was a dead horse anyway. Totally detached from the common people (voters) and incompetent/

The law requires and the SC agreed that there should be a paper trail, but there was none! There was a piece of paper, but no trail. The voter’s receipt did not contain our names or any identifiable marks therefore one could juts go and buy a machine (there’s plenty of them, that prints receipts using thermal paper), print fake receipts and switch them with the real ones and no one would know. The COMELEC officials need to be impeached for violating the law.
Simple lang ang pagdadaya, at the end of the voting, during the tallying of the votes in each precinct, they could have written a hidden source code to deduct a certain percentage of votes from Chiz and Cayetano and added those vote counts to Robredo.

    71. Totally agree. He will do a a big favour for the nation byt filing an election protest. This cycle of cheating must stop. If people keeps turning a blind eye on this issue, the cheats keep doing it over and over again–raping the very soul of our nation and it’s people.

Leni will not even finish her term for the election ptotest that would surely bring out the real einner. ..BBM. by that result her political career is finished.

      • Why should we exclude Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao? Just because these areas are war torn doesn’t mean that their voices need not be heard.
