In the lead up to the grand finale of the hot drama series on prime time, the latest actress to portray the role that made a star out of Mexico’s Thalia and the Philippines’ very own Marian Rivera is overwhelmed with gratitude. Said Megan Young in an interview, “I’m very thankful sa mga patuloy na sumusuporta sa Marimar, natutuwa talaga ako.”

Indeed, since its pilot episode, Marimar made its mark both in the ratings game and social media. Audiences quickly fell in love with the show’s characters, especially Megan’s team up with GMA Network leading man Tom Rodriguez.

Equally grateful for the success of the show is Tom who admitted he will miss “bonding moments” on set. “Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng walang sawang sumusubaybay sa Marimar. Lahat mami-miss ko talaga. Napamahal na sa akin lahat ng katrabaho ko sa Marimar, mula kay Direk Dom [Dominic Zapata] hanggang sa mga katrabaho kong artista,” he related.

According to the production team, more exciting scenes await the viewers for tonight’s grand finale as Angelika (Jaclyn Jose) and Antonia (Lauren Young) continue to seek revenge against Marimar. For despite Antonia’s revelation that she is pregnant with Sergio’s child, Marimar and Sergio continue with plans to marry.

The big question is whether their wedding will push through. Find out tonight as Marimar takes her final bow right after 24 Oras’ newscast.
