Businesswoman and former president of the Inner Wheel Club of Manila (IWCM), Marissa Fenton, gathered about 50 of her friends from the different civic associations she is involved with—like the Catholic Women’s Club, Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP), Johann Strauss Philippines and of course IWCM—to join her in celebrating her birthday on August 10 at the popular One Way restaurant in Makati City.
Guests enjoyed not only the special menu created by the chef but the entertainment featuring singer Chanteuse Lillibeth Garcia.
Celebrity guests who were present like famous balladeer Arthur Manuntag and actor and director Ricky Davao, who were also asked to render song numbers and were well applauded by Marissa’s friends.
Other guests also contributed to the fun by their song numbers were Tessie Amparo, Caruso restaurant owner Emilio Mina who is getting to be a favorite guest nowadays, and Greek Elvis, Dr. George Sarakinis who not just sang Elvis hits but also Tagalog and Visayan songs.
Of course not to be outdone in the singing and dancing was the celebrant herself.
