Nelin Cabahug, Bataan DTI provincial director, said the Mariveles Bagmakers Multi-purpose Cooperative, Inc. received the assistance under the Shared Service Facility (SSF) project of their agency.

DTI Region 3 Director Judith Angeles congratulated the recipients and advised them to take care and put the equipment into good use.

“With this high-tech equipment, we are assured to produce more quality bags and be more competitive in capturing the big market,” said Carlisa Magabo, MPCI chairperson.

DTI Region 3 reportedly has a budget of P100 million with P30 million intended for Bataan.

The first three recipients of SSF projects in Bataan were organizations in Limay, Pilar and Balanga City.
