Market personnel to face cases at Ombudsman

ILOILO CITY: At least nine city hall employees here will be facing charges before the Office of the Deputy Ombudsman for the Visayas as soon as the city council approves the complaints for dishonesty, falsification of public documents and concealing of facts and information against them. Market Committee Chairman Rodel Fullon Agado said the committee is finishing the report, which will be discussed during the council’s regular session on Tuesday. He added that once approved, it would be up to the anti-graft office to continue with the probe against the erring employees. Aside from the market committee, the Committee on Good Government and Committee on Rules also looked into the alleged violations.
