Shooter Celdon Jude Arellano failed to advance to the men’s 10-meter air rifle finals of the 2nd Youth Olympic Games being held in Nanjing, China.
Arellano scored 605 points to finish 14th overall in the 20-man qualifying round. Only Top 8 players were able to make it to the medal round with Chinese Yang Haoran leading the qualifiers after nailing 629.4 points.
The other qualifiers were Hrachik Babayan of Armenia (624.8), Istvan Peni of Hungary (624.2), Lu Shao-Chan of Taiwan (623.5), Andrija Milo–vanovic of Serbia (615.4), Marco Suppini of Italy (614.9), Jose Valdes Martinez of Mexico (614.8) and Vadim Skorovarov of Uzbekistan (613.9).
