• Masculados kin seeks NBI help

The family of a member of male group Masculados Dos who was shot dead in a carjacking incident in Angono, Rizal over the weekend sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) yesterday.

Mary Ann Ong, 28, told The Manila Times that they don’t have any clue as to the identity of the killers of her brother 30-year-old Marcelo Ozu Ong and the motive of the crime.

Ozu was shot and killed few meters from the gate of Primrose Hills Subdivision in Angono town, province of Rizal at 4 a.m. on Sunday.

“He came from a show in Tomas Morato. At 3 a.m. they packed up and headed straight to his home in Angono where his wife and two children, aged one year and eight month old, and two month old, were waiting,” she said.

Ozu, who had been with Masculados Dos for three years already, was with three persons in his black Toyota Hilux with plate number AAO 2722.

“He was with a male friend who tagged along two female friends. His friends asked him to drop them at Robinsons Mall in Antipolo City,” she said.

The younger sister added that somebody overheard a conversation between her brother and one of the suspects.

“Ano ba ang atraso ko sayo? (What do I owe you),” my brother was heard asking his attackers. She said they are tracing the whereabouts of the witness who gave the statement to the police.

She said guards did not witness the murder, they only heard a gunshot and the engines of tricycle, a car, and Ong’s Hilux.

Meanwhile, the wake is at a chapel in Antipolo City Cathedral. “Probably, interment will be after five days. We are not sure yet.”

She said their mother had just arrived from Cabanatuan City. Ozu is the fifth child among eight siblings.
