BACK in September 2016, President Rodrigo Duterte appeared to liken himself to Adolf Hitler. Comparing his anti-drugs campaign to the Holocaust, he threatened to kill millions of drug addicts and pushers: “Hitler massacred three million Jews…there’s three million drug addicts. There are. I’d be happy to slaughter them,” he said. To date, it’s reckoned that at least 9,000 Filipinos have been killed.
