Mavs balanced attack snaps Pelicans’ win streak


DALLAS: The Dallas Mavericks had six players in double figures as they used a balanced scoring attack to snap the New Orleans Pelicans’ five-game winning streak with a 102-93 victory on Monday (Tuesday in Manila). Monta Ellis and Rajon Rondo combined for 39 points for the Mavericks, who ended a two-game losing skid of their own. Ellis scored 20 and Rondo tallied 19 for Dallas, which shot 48 percent from the field.
