Consumer price inflation slows to 1.6%, lowest since 1995

Philippine headline inflation hit its slowest pace in 20 years in May, easing to 1.6 percent as the cost of housing, utilities, fuels and communications sustained a decline, figures released Friday by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) showed.
