MAYBANK Philippines Inc (MPI) has launched a mobile banking app, which would allow its clients to make bank transactions with the use of their mobile phones, the bank announced on Monday.
Richard Lim, MPI Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Business Group, said its “Maybank2U (M2U) Mobile Banking App” was part of its commitment to make banking transactions beyond the physical presence.
“At Maybank, we value the things that you do everyday like checking your accounts, paying bills and doing fund transfers. The Maybank PH mobile app lets you be on top of your finances at your most convenient time and place,” Lim said.
The M2U mobile app can be downloaded from Apple App or Google Play Store. Clients can access and check their deposits, credit card and loan accounts, transfer funds to another Maybank branch or Bancnet member bank account, pay utility and credit card bills and reload prepaid accounts.
M2U also allows clients to locate the nearest Maybank branch and ATM with its Around Me feature, which uses Augmented Reality technology. The app provides the latest promos from Maybank.
Lim said clients can download M2U by typing “Maybank PH” in Appl app store or Google Play Store.
He said non-M2U users can enroll their deposit account or credit card account at M2U Internet Banking or any Maybank branch.
