• Mazda Cebu dealership upgraded to new global Mazda standard


    mazda20160531Mazda Philippines and Cebu Southbay Automobiles Inc., formally opened the expanded Mazda Cebu showroom and service center along Juan Luna Street in Mabolo, Cebu City last week. The showroom was improved to meet the new global Mazda standards.

    The newly-refurbished facility now features a nine-car showroom, additional private sales consultancy rooms, an upgraded customer lounge and 12 dedicated service bays with four lifters to cater to the growing Mazda clientele in the Queen City of the South. Owned and operated by Southbay Automobiles Inc. under the stewardship of Albert Go, the new-look showroom is ready and fully operational to serve the largest automotive market outside of Metro Manila.

    “We at Mazda Philippines take pride with our partners here in Cebu as we officially renew full operations in one of the biggest Mazda showrooms in the country,” said Steven Tan, president and chief executive officer of Berjaya Auto Philippines (BAP). “Providing the best customer service to Mazda patrons is our ultimate goal and with this upgraded facility, Mazda owners now have a new home for their cherished drives,” he added.

    Mazda Cebu has been in operation since 2008 and plays a key role in driving sales volume performance in the Visayas region. “Mazda Cebu has always focused on providing a world-class sales and service experience for Mazda clientele in this part of the country,” said Albert Go. “With our upgraded showroom and services, we raise the bar higher in terms of total customer satisfaction,” he added.

    Along with the opening of the Mazda Cebu showroom, a satellite Mazda sales outlet has also been unveiled at the SM Seaside City complex, the largest mall in Cebu City. It also featues the latest in Kodo-inspired and SkyActive technology-equipped Mazda vehicles.

    The Mazda Cebu showroom is open Mondays to Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. Mazda owners may bring their vehicles for servicing between 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays. The showroom and service center’s trunk lines are 032 238-2222, 238-0222, 233-3113 and 231-6088.

    BAP is the exclusive distributor of Mazda vehicles and parts in the Philippines. Current product line-up includes the Mazda2 sub-compact sedan, hatchback and the premium series, the Mazda3 SkyActiv compact sedan and hatchback, the Mazda6 executive sedan gasoline and diesel, CX-5 compact sport utility vehicle gasoline and diesel models, the Mazda6 wagon, the CX-9 seven-seater SUV, the MX-5 2-seater sports roadster and the BT-50 pick-up truck.
