THE Supreme Court (SC), in a minute resolution dated July 22, 2014, ordered its IT personnel to upload its unsigned extended resolutions to its website.
The uploading means that the media can now access all minute resolutions released by the high tribunal.
The court did not elaborate on the order.
On July 24, 2012, the SC also ordered to hold in abeyance the uploading of the extended resolutions with opinions of the court justices.
“Considering that Rule 14 of the Internal Rules of the [court]provides electronic dissemination of decisions and resolutions to the SC website, the court resolved that the following resolutions be uploaded to the SC website: (a) unsigned extended resolutions which disposes a case after the filing of the comment; and (b) unsigned resolution, whether extended or minute, with separate, concurring or dissenting opinions.”
The minute resolution was promulgated by Clerk of Court Enriqueta Vidal.
