Fidel Medina and Joel Ysip romped away with the championship trophy in the 4th Pawikan Cup last November 10 to 12 at the Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club in Bataan.
The Medina-Ysip tandem carded 119 total points in the 36-hole tournament under the Modified Stableford scoring system.
Arnold Duay and Judson Eustaquio trailed by one point, 118, to finish second in the Class A category.
Class C champion Luis Ramirez and Deo Amor David fired 130-aggregate to edge out first-runner up Felicisimo San Luis and Edgar San Luis who finished with 127.
Alberto Ablang and Noli Gojol sizzled in the last nine holes to rule Class D with identical 130 over Tomas Meneses and Dondie Primicias.
Ricardo Antonio and William Lim also won in the last nine holes with 133 against Romy Armamento and Martin Limgenco in the Senior A division.
In the seniors B class, Ricardo Balbido and Vic Valledor sizzled with 135 compared to Kwanil Yoon and Jin Young Kim’s 132, who settled for second.
Meanwhile, the duo of Cathy Borja and Violy Pegels bested Jody Castillo and Mariel Tee, 126-125, to rule the ladies division.
The team of Antonio Payumo and Raymund Sangil, on the other hand, emerged as overall gross champion while the Louie Villapando-Ronybelle Galang duo copped the overall net trophy.
Winners of the fun holes during the three-day competition were longest drive hitters Mariane Bustos (309 yards), Carina Ricamonte (308), and Mariel Isabelle Tee (321). The nearest to the pin shooters were Riego de Dios (38 inches), Chito Cruz (43), and RJ Rizada (30).
Renato de Leon (on the line), Knoll Min (25cm) and George Rorhbach (30cm) received the most accurate drive award.
