• Megaworld to generate P3B from Makati project

Property developer Megaworld Corp. expects to generate P3 billion worth of sales from its latest residential condominium in the Makati Central Business District.

In a statement Wednesday, Megaworld said it will build a 30-storey residential tower along L.P. Leviste Street in Salcedo Village.

The Ellis will feature link units, the company said.

“The concept of the ‘link units’ allows residents to have their living space attached to their working place. For example, the unit owner can live in the one-bedroom unit while the attached studio unit may be converted into an office,” said Eugune Em Lozano, vice president for sales and marketing.

“What we are introducing is something unique, a ‘first-of-its-kind’ residential project catering to the passionate, innovative and ambitious individuals with entrepreneurial spirit. Megaworld came up with these creative and dynamic amenities to respond to the requirements of ‘on-the-go’ residents,” Lozano said.

The Ellis will feature a unique, unconventional, and contemporary facade with interiors inspired by New York City’s industrial design.

“The Ellis stands out to be Megaworld’s residential masterpiece in the heart of Makati CBD highlighted by design and innovation,” Lozano said.

At present, The Ellis sells for P180,000 per square meter.

Target completion date of the residential tower is slated for 2022.

Megaworld is one of the biggest property developers in the country.
