In celebration of the 130th year of the automobile, Mercedes-Benz showcased nothing but the best line-up of its cars during the 6th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). Aligned with the motor show’s theme, “Steer the Future,” the luxury brand’s array highlighted vehicles that target specific requirements of the discerning market.
The luxury car brand went nostalgic as it paid tribute to one of the most sensational cars in the history—the W123, which was displayed at the venue’s lobby. As the heritage car turns 40 this year, car enthusiasts surely appreciated how it took the global car market by storm when it was launched: many owners endured being on a one-year waiting list, some of its pre-owned units were sold for more than the brand new sticker price, and its fuel-injected engine was more powerful than some race cars of that time.
