Merchants are rushing to set up shop in Fairview Terraces, Ayala Land Inc.’s (ALI) latest mixed-used development in Quezon City, even if SM Fairview has established itself as the prime shoppers’ destination in the Fairview, Novaliches and Lagro districts.
Built facing the left wing of SM Fairview, Fairview Terraces already has 420 merchants or tenants, including popular supermarket chain Puregold and department store Wellworth, indicating strong interest in its potential as a commercial hub.
“I’ve never seen as many of our merchant partners coming out in full force. It really reflects that they have a very great interest,” said Antonio Aquino, chief executive officer of ALI.
Fairview Terraces was built on 5.8 hectares of land located along the widest part of Quirino Avenue in Quezon City.
“Here you could see the integration of all the very best product offerings of Ayala Land, but beyond that it’s also emphasizing the usual things that Ayala Land is known for, like the central garden,” Aquino said. “We really feature a lot of green space.”
The central garden is at the heart of the mall and comes with vertical greens, canopies and lively landscapes. Fairview Terraces also has cinemas and an spacious activity center for concerts and other events.
Set in a mixed-use development layout, the Fairview Terraces Corporate Center will open in the middle of this year, and offer office spaces for upcoming businesses in the area.
Besides SM Fairview, the area where Fairview Terraces is located also hosts the Robinsons Nova Market of Robinsons Land Corp.
Condominiums by SM Investments Inc. and ALI are also rising within the vicinity of the two malls. DMCI Homes has also completed its latest development in the area called The Redwoods condominium.
