Metro Manila residents had their coldest morning this year on Tuesday when the temperature dipped to a chilly 19.6°C.
The reading was seen at the weather bureau’s Science Garden in Quezon City.
The temperature was comparable to Baguio City’s cooler climate.
Baguio City also posted a frosty temperature–12.8°C–early Tuesday. The coldest temperature ever recorded in the country was in Baguio on January 18, 1961, at 6.3°C.
