Mexican drug cartel now in PH – Duterte

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday confirmed the presence of the Mexican “Sinaloa” drug cartel in the Philippines, as he reiterated his commitment to fight illegal drugs.

In a speech in Malacañang, Duterte said the Philippines has no place for the Sinaloa cartel, considered the largest and most powerful drug trafficking organization in the West.

“Is Mexico into us? Yes, the Sinaloa cartel is already here through transshipment,” the President said.

“They’re being eradicated by the US government that’s why they operate here. Sinaloa is active. I never, never, never, hoist a lie. I’m telling you,” he added.

  1. Juan T. Delacruz on

Bureau of Immigration, Bureau Customs, NBI’s, PDEA’s, Military Intelligence, are all aware the presence of Sinaloa Drug Cartels in the country, even before the administration of PDU30. Cocaine is the favorite drugs of the rich and famous and Shabu is for the lower to lowest class groups. It is also a common knowledge that Chinese are the biggest manufacturers and distributors of SHABU in the country. The people involved in drug trades, such as protectors all the way down to street pushers came from all walks of life, such as small time pushers selling drugs to maintain their addiction, to cabinet members of the previous administration.

Why did the previous administration let the Philippines became the biggest playing field of drug cartels in Southeast Asia? They did not do anything and drug problems was out of control. I have yet to find the answer to my question.

  2. IS is here too… Let’s all be extremely vigilant, always… Especially when we are in public places…

  3. They should’nt be hard to track by the BI, how many Mexicans covered in tattoos come into the RP anyway.

  4. Pres. Obama in his quest to pressure the Replublicans toward immigration reform has accelerated the deporation of illegals from the US. He has focused on the most violent and hardened criminals who are into gangs, drugs, murder, etc. These people includes Filipinos who are affiliated with Latino gangs. They are now here and actively spreading havoc amongst us. The Philippines is the unintended victim of the drug purge happening in the US right now. We should prepare to deal with them.
