SAN JOSÉ: Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto said Wednesday he is working on “a new relationship” with the US and thanked Latin American neighbors for support as Mexico faces “big challenges” with its vital trading partner.

His comments were made at a one-day summit in Costa Rica’s capital San Jose that gathered leaders from Mexico, Central America and Colombia.
