MIAA employees warned over illegal activities

MANILA International Airport Authority general manager Jose Angel Honrado on Tuesday warned airport personnel to refrain from engaging in any illegal activity at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). Honrado’s warning came after a female contractual worker was positively identified to have escorted four women to Terminal 1’s departure area using NAIA Official Business cards. The four individuals were later discovered as outbound passengers waiting for their 12-midnight flight to Lebanon. Honrado said the contractual employee is now facing charges of human trafficking while her cohorts are also being investigated for possible involvement in the incident.
