The report on the milestone visit of our Philippine Council for Foreign Relations (PCFR) group in Beijing on September 13-16 failed to give due mention and recognition to the Chairman and President of the PCFR, Ambassador Jose V. Romero Jr., who led our delegation in a Track II initiative with Chinese counterparts. The conspicuous omission of the name of the PCFR president as the head of the delegation needs to be addressed and rectified to give credit to whom this is due. Significantly, this will not only boost the morale of our team but also make The Manila Times report accurate.
