Veteran national bowler Raoul Miranda topped the men’s division to lead the second batch of national finalists in the 2013 Bowling World Cup competition on Sunday in 13 different bowling centers.
Miranda tallied a 12-game series of 2747 pinfalls to beat Richie Poblete (2669), Mar Serac (2637), Jeremy Posadas (2630), Jeff Carabeo (2470), Jay Catolico (2467), Paulo Valdez (2463) and Benshir Layoso (2461) in the men’s division.
The men’s and ladies’ finalists will dispute the right to represent the Philippines in the 49th Bowling World Cup international finals slated on November 15 to 24 at the Sibiryak Center, Kransanoyarsk, capital city of Russia in Siberia.
The national finals will be held on September 14-15 at Coronado Lanes (Starlanes), September 17-18 at Paeng’s Midtown and September 20at SM Mall of Asia.
