TO celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Fuso Canter, Mitsubishi Motors Phils. Corp. (MMPC) announced it is offering affordable financing schemes for Canter models.
MMPC said the Canter FE71 is available for a low down payment of P189,000 or a low monthly amortization of P12,977 for 60 months (with 50 percent down payment). Also, customers who purchase a brand-new Canter from MMPC’s authorized dealers nationwide will be given a free 32-inch Toshiba LED television.
According to MMPC, the Canter light-duty trucks make a perfect partner for any business because of its world-class quality, technology and reliability, and that they have features that increase the durability and longevity of their components.
The first-generation Canter was introduced in 1963. In 1968, the first full-model change was launched through the Canter T90 series. The third generation, which was the Canter T200, expanded the lineup to include 2.5-ton and 3.0-ton variants. In 1978, the fourth generation was introduced and it was the first in its class to offer spacious medium-duty truck-like cabin comfort. The fifth generation until the seventh generation models were developed to global standard performance. In 2006, the first Canter Eco Hybrid was launched as the new benchmark for truck innovations. In 2010, the Blue Tec technology and Duonic gave way to the introduction of the eighth-generation Canter.
