• MM TEMPERATURE DROPS TO 15.8 DEGREES CELSIUS

    The temperature in Metro Manila dropped to 15.8 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning, the coldest recorded in the metropolis this year, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. Pagasa weather forecaster Manny Mendoza said the country will continue to have cooler days until the end of February, when the northeast monsoon or “hangin amihan” ends. Mendoza said the temperature in Metro Manila dipped to 15.8 degrees Celsius at 4:50 a.m., lower than the 16.9 degrees Celsius recorded on January 25.
