MORE than 300 tons of garbage have been collected by personnel of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) after the New Year revelry.

Francis Martinez, MMDA Metropark Way Clearing Group head, over the weekend said street sweepers and clearing teams have collected a total of 1,086 cubic meters or equivalent to 319 tons of garbage in major thoroughfares from January 1 to 3, 2016.
