MMDA GETS P3-M WORTH OF MEDICINES

AS part of its public health program, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Monday received P3-million worth of medicines from a pharmaceutical firm. MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said the medicines will for the use of Metro Manila residents during disasters and other emergencies. The donation pushed through after Tolentino signed a memorandum of agreement with Thomas Weigold, president of the PHAP Cares Foundation or the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines.
