• MMDA nets 53 colorum, out of line vehicles


    THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has apprehended 53 colorum and out of line vehicles during its three-day operation. Crisanto Saruka, head of the MMDA’s Traffic Discipline Office, said out of 53 vehicles, 37 were out of line while the rest were colorum and no certificate of public conveyance. The vehicles were taken to the MMDA facility in Tumana, Marikina City while the drivers were penalized. MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said the agency is mandated under Republic Act 7924, the law creating the agency, to go after colorum vehicles.
