• MMDA rolls out bike-sharing project in Roxas Blvd

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Monday rolled out another of its bike-lending project along Roxas Boulevard in Manila. MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino said the bike-sharing project aims to encourage people of all ages to try and enjoy cycling as a form of exercise for free. Under the Roxas Boulevard bike lane project, cyclists can go to bike shelters where they can borrow and store bicycles, and go cycling from Raja Sulayman to the Burgos Ave. service road along Roxas Blvd. Tolentino said the launch of this bike-sharing project will set to motion the “Bayanihan sa Daan” road-sharing project, which encourages people to walk alongside bikers and car drivers from Quirino Grandstand in Luneta to Mall of Asia in Pasay City to underscore the importance of road courtesy.
