COTABATO CITY, Maguindanao: The Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (Pamana) program has extended P1.5 million livelihood assistance to agri-fisheries of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) cooperative. About 50 members of the Maman Kalilintad Farmers and Fisherfolks Producers Cooperative from Barangay Paitan in Mangudadatu two received agri-fishery equipment and inputs with 1.7 million tilapia fingerlings, freshwater fish cages, feeds and fishing boats. Dong Anayatin, Pamana-ARMM program manager, said that since 2013, the ARMM’s Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has extended P61 million worth of agriculture and fisheries support services across the region for MNLF members. Pamana reported that of the 180 MNLF cooperatives, 135 were already served. The 45 remaining are to receive assistance soon.
