American pop icon Taylor Swift made a comeback in Manila to treat her Filipino fans to a one-night concert as part of The Red Tour.
After the conclusion of her show in Shanghai, China on May 30, the 24-year-old pop star gave an all-out performance on Friday night to a sold-out concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The venue has a full-house seat capacity of 20,000.
All throughout the night, the musician made several costume changes and played different instruments likes the banjo, electric guitar and her signature acoustic guitar.
The seven-time Grammy winner arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on Friday afternoon aboard an Air Asia flight. There, fans as well as the media gathered to catch a glimpse of the blonde bombshell.
However, media coverage became limited during her arrival as Swift’s chartered plane landed at the remote area of airport. Photographers also did not caught the 24-year-old disembarking the plane as her bodyguards immediately blocked the view.
The pop country singer first came here in 2011, where she also performed to a sold-out Smart Araneta Coliseum. An estimated 13,000 concertgoers saw her for the first time.
