Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque standout Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh led the Philippine Swimming League (PSL) to an eight-gold, three-silver, three-bronze medal haul in the opening day of the 2017 Hamilton Aquatics Winter Long Course Swimming Championships at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Mojdeh, the reigning PSL Female Swimmer of the Year, bagged six gold medals in the girls’ 11-year category while Angela Torrico (girls’ 11-year) and Albren Dayapdapan (boys’ 13-year) contributed one gold each in their respective age bands.
