MSME focus a success – DTI

Fruits of the Philippines’ labor in hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit were highlighted by the Trade department, particularly initiatives aimed at boosting medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs) as a means of promoting regional development.

“We have made significant contributions to APEC. Our work has gathered support for member economies to collectively work towards an Asia Pacific region that addresses gaps in economic development, sustains long-term and inclusive growth, and benefits our micro, small and medium enterprises,” Trade Secretary Gregory Domingo said.
