Middleweight mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Mark “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” Muñoz will face Tim “The Barbarian” Boetsch in a non-title bout in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 162 on July 6, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“”I wouldn’t say sports build character; I’d say character is revealed through sport,” Muñoz told Ben Fowlkes of MMA website mmajunkie.com. “I think adversity is the dust that polishes the diamond. It’s a bump in the road for me. It’s part of my story. Now I’m back on the horse and I’m riding again,” Muñoz is pertaining to his failed comeback attempt to MMA competition last year.
