• Muntinlupa official affirms market safety after bomb threat


    BUSINESS Permits and Licensing Office chief Gary Llamas said the Alabang Public Market is safe in spite of bomb threat incident that transpired in a pharmaceutical shop on Tuesday afternoon. He added that the incident was an isolated case as he called on the public to be vigilant. Additional closed-circuit televisions (CCTVs) will be installed across the market to ensure strict monitoring of the area. According to an incident report, at around 1:00 p.m. on August 11, an assistant pharmacist identified as Grace Mata received a sealed paper bag from an unidentified male person. Muntinlupa City Police continues to investigate and study CCTV footages in the market to possibly capture the suspect.
