THE Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 1 no longer made it to the list of the world’s top 10 worst airports.

The NAIA was struck out by the review website “The Guide to Sleeping in Airports.”

The website reviews airports every year based on the services and facilities available within the terminal: cleanliness, customer service, comfort and passengers’ overall airport experience.

As of October 17, 2015, the top 10 worst airports in the world were Port Harcourt International Airport, Nigeria; Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport, Saudi Arabia; Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal; Tashkent International Airport, Uzbekistan; Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport, Venezuela; Port au Prince Toussaint Louverture International Airport, Haiti; Kabul Hamid Karzai International Airport, Afghanistan; Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Vietnam; Islamabad Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Pakistan and Paris Beauvais-Tille International Airport outside Paris, France.

The Philippines’ premier airport, particularly the NAIA terminal 1, was recently refurbished for P1.3 billion.
