Japanese Toru Nakajima defied gale-force wind, sleek putting surface and a stellar local roster to fire a bogey-free 68 and grab a provisional two-stroke lead over Angelo Que in the ICTSI Anvaya Cove Golf tournament stopped due to darkness at the Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club in Morong, Bataan on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old Tokyo native and a regular campaigner on the local circuit, gunned down four birdies, including a 26-footer on the par-5 10th where he started, for a 34-34 card and the early lead in the P3.5 million event kicking off this year’s Philippine Golf Tour sponsored by ICTSI.
