Janet Lim-Napoles, the suspected mastermind of the P10-billion pork fund scam, on Wednesday was reported to have been “adjusting to her new environment” as she was in good health, a Philippine National Police (PNP) official said.
“All (her) vital signs are normal as of 6:30 a.m.,” PNP public information office chief Senior Supt. Rueben Theodore Sindac said. It was the first day since her transfer last Sunday from the Makati City jail.
He earlier said that Napoles is adjusting to her new surroundings at a detention facility in Fort Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
“She is adjusting to her new environment, in her new surroundings,” he added.
Sindac said Napoles has so far made no requests about her quarters.
On Sunday morning, Napoles was transferred to a tightly secured detention facility at Fort Sto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Before that, she had been detained at PNP headquarters in Camp Crame hours after surrendering to President Benigno Aquino 3rd.
She was then transferred to the Makati City Jail on orders of the Makati court which ordered her and her brother Reynald Lim arrested on charges of serious illegal detention. PNA
