As inspirational programs continue to be the trend on prime time television, ABS-CBN is set to premiere another drama series that promises to inspire and remind Filipinos about the innate goodness of humanity. Titled Nathaniel, the teleserye premieres Monday, April 20, and stars showbiz’ newest child actor Marco Masa, and prime time favorites Gerald Anderson and Shaina Magdayao.
“Nathaniel’s’ story will surely help in uplifting the spirits of TV viewers especially in our time now where Filipinos are going through a lot of difficulties,” shared Gerald at the show’s grand press conference this week.
“Our series is perfect for the whole family because of the lessons, values, and inspiration it will give not only to kids, but to everyone,” said Shaina.
The series tells the story of Nathaniel (Marco), an angel who has a mission to come back to earth and restore the belief of humanity in God and remind them about the innate goodness that everyone possesses in their hearts.
Completing the powerhouse cast of Nathaniel are Pokwang, Isabelle Daza, Benjie Paras, Jayson Gainza, Ogie Diaz, Sharlene San Pedro, Jairus Aquino, Yesha Camile, David Chua, Young JV, Fourth and Fifth Pagotan, and veteran actress Coney Reyes. It directed by Darnel Joy Villaflor and Francis Pasion.
The show’s official soundtrack “Lupa Man ay Langit na Rin” is recorded and performed by Erik Santos.
Nathaniel is the latest production of ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the group that created top-rating inspirational masterpieces such as May Bukas Pa, 100 Days to Heaven, and Honesto.
Nathaniel airs tomorrow night on ABS-CBN Prime- time Bida.
