• National Press Congress slated December 1–3


    TARLAC: The 22nd National Press Congress is set on December 1-3 at the Balin, Sambali–Conference facility in Iba, Zambales, with Department of Tourism Undersecretary Katherine de Castro as keynote speaker. Themed “Toward a Stronger Media and Tourism Partnership for Socio-economic Development,” the three-day media convergence is led by the Publishers Association of the Philippines Inc. (PAPI). It will highlight the significant role of media-tourism partnership in promoting tourism as a prime mover toward the country’s inclusive growth. PAPI president Nelson Santos said other resource speakers and guests include Sen. Richard Gordon, Zambales Gov. Amor Deloso, congressmen Cheryl Deloso-Montalla and Jeffrey Khonghun, Chinese Counselor Yi “Ethan” Sun and Malacanang spokesman Harry Roque.
