plus support on double layer DVD+/- R9 recording function. This
internal combo also includes SMART-BURN avoiding Buffer Under Run
error, which automatically adjust writing strategy & running OPC
to provide the best burning quality. Its SMART-X function adjusts
CD-DA / VCD / DVD data extraction to a fastest allowable speed
according to both data request rate from host and disk quality.
SMART-WRITE, through drive’s
self-learning function, automatically detect and decide the optimal
write strategy of DVD recordable media ( DVD+R & DVD-R ) for the
best write quality. Its built-in ABS system reduce vibration and
noise during recording and reading. The LH-20A1H can play both 8cm
and 12cm discs of CD and DVD family, and conforms to Orange Book
recording standards. The Lightscribe direct disk labeling to
Lightscribe media is also another great feature of this DVD-Combo
from LiteOn.
It’s a good thing that internal
optical drives can be used through an external strorage casing that
fits 5.25” devices connected via USB 2.0 or firewire port. This
way, it will be easier for PC users to upgrade to newer optical
drives without the hassle of opening the desktop casing or tower or
bringing the entire PC to a qualified computer technician. Laptop
users can use the external drives too. So, when you buy this LiteOn
model with Lighscribe function, consider buying an external 5.25”
storage as well.
