Petron Corp. for the 21st year stages its Lakbay
Alalay program as a public service for motorists on the road during
the Holy Week. From April 4 to 9, Petron will offer free roadside
assistance at the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), South Luzon
Expressway (SLEX), and the Star Tollway.
Petron’s Lakbay Alalay provides
free minor car repairs, first aid, emergency phone calls, radiator
water and Treats bottled water. Radio traffic reports courtesy of
Petron also keep motorists informed about driving conditions.
Participating Petron stations
also offer free checks on tire pressure, oil and radiator water
level, and brakes inspection until today. Motorists who wish to
avail of Lakbay Alalay services may visit the Petron stations on the
NLEX, SLEX and the Star Tollway.
Lakbay Alalay is the
longest-running motorist assistance program in the country. Manned
by Petron employee-volunteers, Lakbay Alalay is also part of the
company’s “Volunteerism in Action” corporate social
responsibility activity.
Lakbay Alalay 2007 is
presented in partnership with NLEX, Manila North Tollways Corp.,
Tollways Management Corp., SLEX, Philippine National Construction
Corp., and Star Infrastructure Development Corp. Other partners
include the Philippine National Red Cross, Honda, Kia, Continental
Batteries, Gladiator Radiator Sealant, and BioActive.
