DMCI building secures tax perks

D.M Consunji Inc. (DMCI) has secured tax perks for a high-rise residential building project in Mandaluyong City.

The Board of Investments (BOI) on Monday said that the project could cater to the mounting need for infrastructure facilities particularly in mass housing.

DMCI is pouring P238.5 million for the Sycamore Tower project, which will rise as a 30-story building, the company said.

DMCI said that the project will have a mezzanine floor, which will have six 1-bedroom and six 2-bedroom units, while the second to the 29th floors will have four 1-bedroom unit and eight 2-bedroom units. The remaining two floors will have four 1-bedroom unit and eight 2-bedroom units. Four levels of basement parking will also be available for the residents.

DMCI said that the high-rise residential building is only one of three residential buildings to be built on the 8,015 square meters owned by the company.

The Sycamore Tower will have 346 residential units. Some amenities include game rooms, function rooms, multipurpose rooms and some space for shops.
