Military brushes off
MNLF
leader Malik’s call for ‘jihad’ |

THE Armed Forces (AFP) on Monday
brushed off the call for jihad, or a holy war by a rogue commander
of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) who earlier had
launched attacks on government and military positions in Sulu.
Military officials said on-going
operations in Sulu is not directed against the Moro National
Liberation Front (MNLF) as an organization, but against MNLF
Commander, Ustadz Habier Malik.
